A few weeks ago, we received a request: the George Eastman Museum would be honoring Goldie Hawn and her contributions to cinema at a celebration on October 22. Could we provide custom chocolate favors for the guests?

When I first moved to Rochester more than eight years ago, The George Eastman Museum was a big attraction. We love learning about local culture, and both Andy and I had an appreciation for art, photography and the history of imagery in our adopted home. We even brought our little ones to the museum when they were babies and toddlers. Of course we would be honored to create custom gifts for guests for the celebration of the George Eastman Award.

We are fortunate to work with a company right here in upstate NY that makes custom molds for chocolatiers and chocolate makers. Tomric Systems in Buffalo, created George Eastman Museum business card size molds for us. Not only did we have a personalized mold, but the chocolate was custom too: lemon meringue chocolate in tribute to George Eastman’s favorite pie. Tangy, sweet, and delicious!
