Our refund and exchange policy lasts 21 days. If 21 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

For food safety, we do not restock exchanged chocolate. Thus, we only exchange chocolate purchases if there is a food quality concern or damaged shipment. Please send a picture of your chocolate and/or shipment along with your receipt or order number and your concerns to info@laughinggullchocolates.com.

Please note: as per the item description, truffles have a 2-3 week shelf life for best flavor and quality. Truffles consumed beyond that time frame are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

  • Year Long Subscription Box Gift  (If you are dissatisfied with your subscription, please reach out to our subscription specialist at team@laughinggullchocolates.com) Quarterly subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time.


Event & workshop tickets are non-refundable except in case of extenuating circumstances. Event tickets may be eligible for store credit towards another event in some circumstances. Collaborative events with other vendors and businesses may have varying policies, call for specific information.

If an event is cancelled by Laughing Gull Chocolates or a collaborator, refunds will be provided in the original method of payment.


Once we receive communication of your concern, we will review and notify you of the status of your refund within 3 business days.

If a refund is approved, it will be immediately processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, typically within 7 business days. If you have not received your funds after this time, please reach out to info@laughinggullchocolates.com

Prevention of Quality Loss

Shipments: Please follow along and track chocolate purchases being shipped to ensure they are not left out in inclement weather after arrival. Open your package immediately.

Storage: Chocolate should be stored at room temperature (~68F) and out of direct sunlight. Unless specifically directed, chocolate should not be stored in the refrigerator.
